First I painted my nails with Orly Haute Red and let them dry. I then put tape horizontally across my nail at approximately the midpoint with the tape covering the side of my nail facing my hand. I painted the full nail with Nina Black. When I removed the tape I had a half and half effect. I freehanded the silver, Sally Hansen Platinum Chrome, which in retrospect was not the best plan and I advise you stick with the tape method. After letting that all dry, I put tape on the outer half of my nail and again freehanded the center line with China Glaze White on White.
