Our spring show is You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, so I decided to do a few of the costumes on my nails! On my thumb I have Charlie Brown. To do this, I used a base of Seche Clear, then put a little circle reinforcement sticker for ring binders on the bottom of my nail to make sure the polish didn't go there, then I painted the whole nail with Nina Like Butta. After letting that dry I drew the squiggles on with Sally Hansen Black. On my pointer finger I have little Sally Brown. I used the reinforcements again to make the negative moon, then painted the nail with Spa Ritual Swept Away and made dots with China Glaze White on White. For Lucy van Pelt, I couldn't find my royal blue polish, so I actually used Ultramarine Blue acrylic paint, again using the reinforcements, and the color is China Glaze White on White. My ring finger is Charles Schulz' signature confined in a black box sort of like a comic strip cell. I used China Glaze White on White and Sally Hansen Black. I freehanded the negative space on Peppermint Patty, my little finger, using Art Deco Bright Green and did the detail in Sally Hansen Black. I used Seche Vite top coat on all my nails, as always.
