Spring Has Sprung

So every high school girl at this time is thinking about prom, it's completely unavoidable, mainly because people such as myself will not shut up about it. There is a gorgeous dress on modcloth (that is currently out of stock) that my friend absolutely needs for prom, and that dress is what today's nail design is based upon. I started with a base of Seche Retain followed by a coat of Seche Clear. I then did a base coat of China Glaze White on White followed by two coats of Chanel Flamme Rose to give my nails a slightly off-white color. For the flowers I used a thin striper brush to paint on acrylic paint in white and ultramarine blue. I did this because the colors blended in a more controllable fashion rather than using to polishes of different consistencies and pigment levels. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite.
